Tiger and Tim New Year Updates

Bringing joy and education to kids around the world

Let’s usher in the new year with new exciting developments and updates from Tiger and Tim!

Hey, cool cats! I hope that the start of your new year is going great!

The National Literacy Trust | Tiger and Tim

As for us here at Tiger and Tim, the beginning of the year has proved to be an exciting one. Me and my buddy Tim Hague are delighted to share that we have recently partnered with The National Literacy Trust (the UK’s biggest literacy charity) for their brilliant campaign called ‘Words that Count’. Turns out, I am not just a tiger for kids; I am also a tiger for grown-ups now!

learning videos for kids | Tiger and Tim

Words that Count, a part of the Words for Life program by The National Literacy Trust, aims to help young people manage their money and make wise financial decisions. Apart from supporting Tiger Cubs’ literacy development, we also helped out grown-ups in developing financial literacy! Our talented editors and animators, who typically bring our learning videos for kids to life, created animated videos for the campaign that aid in delivering the program’s message.

Aside from Tim and me, other celebrities (yes, we are celebrities in our right!:)) are also part of the campaign. Love Island stars Tom, Biggs, and Danny also lent their hand to the program, as well as other financial experts and advisors. Other partners include Read Machester, Experian, and Money and Pension Services (or MaPS).

Check out our Words that Count animated videos here

Another exciting update from us is that we were recently featured in an online article in the Daily Mail! That’s one of the most popular websites in the world! Pretty cool, huh?!

The article shared different educational resources (which are free or low-cost) that families with Tiger Cubs can take advantage of in the light of another phase of a national lockdown and school closures all over the UK and elsewhere.

Among the resources listed in the article are the Tiger and Tim learning videos for kids which we upload to our YouTube channel and other platforms like HappyKids.TV, Kidoodle, Toongoggles, Apple TV, Roku and Amazon Fire TV! The article emphasises our mission to help Tiger Cubs develop their literacy whilst developing their character, also.

Aside from Tiger and Tim, other free educational platforms, such as Edplace, ActionAid and Hero Tales are also part of the list. Corporations that offer free educational resources are listed too, such as Amazon, Barclays, and HSBC.

Tigers for Kids: Favourite Tiger and Tim Moments in 2020

Tiger and Tim moments

2020 will always be special to us! We were born this year after all! So, let’s take a look at some of our favourite Tiger and Tim moments of the year:

2020 has been quite a ride, right, cool cats?! From the lockdowns, online classes, endless Zoom meetings, and so much more, this tiger for kids had bid the year adios! But as my buddy Tim Hague and I welcome 2021, let’s first go back to some of our favourite moments from the different learning videos for kids we’ve produced!

learning videos for kids | Tiger and Tim

Our Premiere Episode

If there’s one thing this year (and Tiger and Tim’s pilot episode) has taught us, it’s to wash our hands often! The very first Tiger and Tim episode premiered on July 1, 2020, after months of hard work and preparation. Thanks to all you roarsome people, our pilot episode has reached 9,000+ views and counting!

This was an exceptional episode for Tim and me because it’s when we first met our Tiger Cubs – from all over the world – who continue to support us to this day!

Trip to Outer Space | Tiger and Tim space adventure

Trip to Outer Space

We went to many different places this year – from the jungle to even the North Pole! But nothing beats traveling to outer space! For the second episode of our learning video for kids, Tim and I went on an out-of-this-world adventure where we (and my mouse friend, Marvin) found out that the moon is not made of cheese (sorry about that, Marvin).

Tim The Hippo | Tiger and Tim Animals

Tim The Hippo

As a smart tiger, just like all of the best tigers for kids, I get the Quiz Master’s questions correct every time. As a reward, I am allowed to turn Tim into anything I want him to be! My favourite among Tim’s transformations would have to be “Tim the hippo”! It’s not much of a stretch really…just take a look at his belly! Ha!

Tiger and Tim's Original Stories | Tiger and Tim Animals

Tiger and Tim’s Original Stories

One of the many things we like to do, especially during a lockdown, is to write and read our own stories! The original stories we feature in our learning videos for kids usually feature my animal friends from the jungle. Tiger cubs can develop their literacy and reading skills, as well as learn essential values just by reading along with us. It’s a child literacy adventure!

The Art Critique's Funny Brows | Tiger and Tim

The Art Critique’s Funny Brows

What would our learning videos for kids do without The Art Critique and the shrill of his voice? I still think The Art Critique is just Tim wearing funny stuck-on brows and a moustache, though! Case in point: When the Art Critique’s eyebrow fell off! Well, if that’s not a clue to the Art Maestro’s real identity, then I don’t know what is! And the fact that we’ve never seen The Art Critique and Tim Hague in one room is really fishy…. Nevertheless, The Art Critique and I have loved seeing all of the paintings, drawings, arts and crafts this year. Fantastic!

The Tiger and Tim's Sing-Along Song | Tiger and Tim Animals

The Tiger and Tim’s Sing-Along Song

2020 is also the year that Tim and I wrote and performed our first Tiger and Tim song! Our ultra-catchy sing-along song made its debut in the fourth episode and it has become our special way to end our episodes for all tigers and for kids everywhere. We think and hope it teaches our Tiger Cubs all of the values that are important nowadays! We plan to have more original songs in our future learning videos for kids, and maybe even some celebrity guests!

The Time-Traveling TARDIS | Tiger and Tim Animals

The Time-Traveling TARDIS

While lockdowns prevented most of us from traveling outside of the house, that didn’t stop us from traveling back in time! Thanks to the Doctor Who TARDIS (or Time And Relative Dimension in Space), we were able to see the wonders of Ancient Egypt in our fifth episode. We even met a mummy! Not Tim’s Mummy Susy, an actual Egyptian Mummy!!

The Mummy | Tiger and Tim Sports | Tiger and Tim

The Cub Cup Final

Dubbed as the sporting event of the year (well, at least for us!), The Cub Cup Final was truly memorable! Thanks to everyone who believed in me, I scored big time and won the match against the Wolfpack Wanderers with my penalty kick! IT’S TIGER TIME!

A Royal Visit | Tiger and Tim Adventure

A Royal Visit

Who could forget about the time we met Her Royal Highness, Queen Elizabeth, at Buckingham Palace during our Great British Culture episode? Do you remember how I majestically bowed in front of the Queen and how Tim’s bone’s creaked because he’s getting very old? GOOD TIMES.

P.S: I wonder when will I meet the other members of the Royal family? Stay tuned for that! I would definitely like to visit Prince Harry in America…

Saving Christmas | Tiger and Tim Adventure

Saving Christmas

Just when we thought we’d had enough adventures for the year, an extraordinary friend of ours needed some help! And that friend is none other than Father Christmas, himself! Good thing we were able to reach the North Pole just in time to save the holidays for Santa Claus, or “FC” (Father Christmas) as I like to call him! I’d love to visit Father Christmas again next year, that’s for sure!

So there you have it, Tiger Cubs! These are some our favourite Tiger and Tim moments from the year 2020. There are so many more we could have included, but didn’t have space! Try to find some of your own by watching all of our YouTube videos!

Here’s to more memories and exciting adventures in 2021! The first of those adventures will be: Tim and I meeting the dinosaurs! Yay!

TIGERS FOR KIDS: Top Children’s Books Featuring Tigers

Top Children’s Books | Tiger Tim

Tigers are one of the most popular characters in literature – especially in children’s books. Here are tigers for children’s books that your kids will love!

TIGER characters | Tiger Tim

You all know that reading books with Tim is one of my favourite things to do. But you know what’s better than getting lost in books? Reading books with TIGER characters! Tigers, for kids and adults alike, are one of the most popular animal characters in books. What can I say, we are cool cats, after all!

Tigers for Children | Tiger Tim

In this blog post, I’ve rounded up my ten most beloved books featuring tigers for children, ranging from classics to newly-published ones. There’s also something for adults at the end of the list!

The Tiger Who Came to Tea, Written and Illustrated by Judith Kerr

Tiger Who Came to Tea | Tiger Tim

Recommended Ages: 3-6

Can you imagine having tea with a TIGER? A Tiger Who Came to Tea is precisely about that! The book, published in 1968, is about a little girl named Sophie, who is visited by a huge tiger one afternoon. Read about how this charming tiger (like me!) drinks and eats everything in Sophie’s house (very much like me!) before simply going on his way.

This beloved classic remains popular to this day, all thanks to a kind, well-meaning, tea-loving, tiger.

The Jungle Book, Written by Rudyard Kipling

Recommended Ages: 10+

The Jungle Book, Written by Rudyard Kipling | Tiger Tim

Another classic, The Jungle Book, is intended for the older Tiger Cubs out there who are wanting to escape to the wilderness, one short story at a time. Unlike most of the tiger characters in this list, the Bengal tiger Shere Khan is cunning and ferocious. But inadvertently teaches the story’s main character, Mowgli, several life lessons, including facing one’s fears. This timeless tale is still alive after more than a hundred years since it was first published – partly because of the many film and TV adaptations over the years. Tiger Cubs, both younger and older, will love this story of friendship and bravery.

Augustus and His Smile, Written and Illustrated by Catherine Rayner

Recommended Ages: 4-8

Augustus and His Smile | Tiger Tim

Like most tigers for kids‘ books, Augustus is a playful feline who suddenly realised that his smile was missing. Augustus and His Smile is a meaningful book that teaches Tiger Cubs the true meaning of happiness, as Augustus searched for his own. The  book always makes me appreciate how happy my life is with my human friend, Tim!

Little Tiger, Written by Julie Abery and Illustrated by Suzie Mason

Recommended Ages: 3-6 years old

Little Tiger | Tiger Tim

Tigers are much like kids, don’t you think? We’re playful, sweet, and we love our mamas! Little Tiger is a book that shows a tiger mum’s love for her cubs… even when we get a bit too adventurous at times! With its short rhyming lines and superb illustrations, Tiger Cubs will love reading this lovely book!

Go Get ‘Em, Tiger, Written by Sabrina Moyle and Illustrated by Eunice Moyle

Recommended Ages: 3+

Go Get 'Em, Tiger | Tiger Tim

I go through bad days, like everyone else. But the book Go Get ‘Em Tiger by the Hello!Lucky sisters Sabrina and Eunice, never fails to pick me up whenever I feel a little down. This book shares a powerful message of encouragement and positivity to kids and grown-ups alike. The bright and colourful illustrations also go perfectly with the uplifting message of the book! So Go Get ‘Em, Tiger, for kids and adults alike!

Leo the Late Bloomer, Written by Robert Kraus and Illustrated by Jose Aruego

Recommended Ages: 4-8

Leo the Late Bloomer | Tiger Tim

Everybody blooms at their own pace – that is the message Leo the Late Bloomer wants to tell its readers. This Tigers for children book also teaches the youngsters how to talk, read, write, and eat without making a mess (sorry Tim!), but Leo is a late bloomer, and his father is concerned. But his loving mum knows that Leo will eventually bloom at just the right time. This well-loved classic still resonates today, no matter what age you are!

The Tiger-Skin Rug, Written and Illustrated by Gerald Rose

Recommended Ages: 4-8

The Tiger-Skin Rug | Tiger Tim Books

All this tiger wanted was a comfortable life with the rajah (an Indian King or Prince), so he disguised himself as a rug. But what happens when the rajah is in danger? Will the tiger reveal himself or simply remain a rug? The Tiger-Skin Rug is a story that teaches love, loyalty to family, and that there will always be a place for a tiger in one’s home! Just ask Tim Hague!

A Tiger Called Tomás, Written by Charlotte Zolotow and Illustrated by Marta Álvarez Miguéns

Recommended Ages: 4-8

A Tiger Called Tomás | Tiger Tim

A Tiger Called Tomás is a new spin on a classic book about tigers for children: A Tiger Called Thomas. Wearing a tiger suit for Halloween, a small shy boy joins the night’s fun and decides that his new neighbors like him after all. This time around though, the story is given a bilingual twist, with Spanish words used across the text.  The message still remains the same though – stay true to one’s stripes, I mean, self!

The Tiger Who Lost His Stripes, Written by Anthony Paul and Illustrated by Michael Foreman

Recommended Ages: 3-8

The Tiger Who Lost His Stripes | Tiger Tim

Talking of stripes… a tiger’s stripes are unique to every tiger – no tiger has the same pattern. But what happens when a tiger loses its stripes? That is exactly what happened to General MacTiger, the most magnificent animal in the jungle! Oh no! The Tiger Who Lost His Stripes is a fun story about a smart and persistent tiger for kids and grown-ups! After all, if at first you don’t succeed, try, try and try again.

Sleep Like a Tiger, Written by Mary Logue and Illustrated by Pamela Zagarenski

Recommended Ages: 4-8

Sleep Like a Tiger | Tiger Tim

I love taking long slumbers, especially on cold rainy nights, and this book is perfect for bedtime storytelling! Sleep Like a Tiger tells the story of a little girl who claims she’s not sleepy and proceeds to recall how different animals sleep, including tigers. With its beautiful descriptions and rich illustrations, Sleep Like a Tiger is perfect for your next story-telling session before going to bed.

Something for the Grown-ups: Life of Pi, Written by Yann Martel

Life of Pi | Tiger Tim Books

The widely successful novel and its movie adaptation, Life of Pi, features one of the most famous tigers in literature, Richard Parker. Life of Pi follows Pi and a tiger he names Richard Parker, as they try to survive the ocean, elements, and each other. This deeply philosophical and moving narrative shares the universal message: “No man is an island”.

Thanks for reading my blog! I hope you enjoyed it. Tiger and Tim helps Tiger Cubs all over the world develop their love for reading and learning! Tiger and Tim episodes feature animated stories that Tiger Cubs and adults alike will find enjoyable, and best of all, they contain valuable lessons that kids will love.

I hope my list inspired you to pick up a TIGER-RIFFIC book today. See you again soon!

Lots of love, from Tiger xoxoxoxoxo

Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

Hey, Tiger Cubs! I was so excited to release our latest episode – Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure! Have you seen the show? Tim and I had so much fun! Rooooar!

In our new episode, we went to a lush and sprawling jungle! There are many different kinds of wild animals in the jungle, as well as plants and trees. Did you know that more than half of the world’s species live in the wild, including me!

Is it a jungle or a rainforest? | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

Is it a jungle or a rainforest?

A lot of humans usually get confused between a jungle and a rainforest. Some think they are the same and can’t point out the differences.

Jungles and rainforests are quite alike, actually. Huge trees and small plants grow densely (close to each other) in the wild and the rainforest. Both places are hot and humid, and there is frequent rain, too. Good thing that Tim brought his handy umbrella when we went!

The most significant difference between the two is that the trees in the rainforest have layers, called canopies. The canopies make it difficult for the sun to reach the ground. Sunlight is more common in the jungle, that’s why plants grow thickly on the floor, much more so than in the rainforest.

India’s vast wilderness | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

The most famous jungle is probably the Amazon. It is so big that it is located in over nine countries! No talk about the jungle is complete without also mentioning India’s vast wilderness, which inspired the classic novel by Rudyard Kipling called “The Jungle Book”.

Jungle Animals

Aside from me, there are so many other cool animals in the jungle. We’re all friends, of course… Most of the time!

Jungle Animals | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

The Elephants | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

We met several wild animals as we were walking in the jungle during our story in Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure. There were no Tigers (except for me), leopards and jaguars but just so you know, they are the big cats living in the wild. There are also chimpanzees who love to climb trees and swing from vines, and the mighty gorillas who mostly spend their days on land. Let’s not forget about the gentlest creature in the jungle either – the elephants! Don’t let their size scare you because they are really friendly!

animals in the jungle are zebras

Other land animals in the jungle are zebras, with their black and white stripes. You can see them in one of the pictures from our latest sorry. They may all look alike, but actually, the pattern of their stripes are unique to each zebra. Long-necked giraffes also live in the jungle. They are the tallest animal because of their long neck. That’s why it’s easy for them to eat the leaves and fruits of high trees. Last but certainly not the least, are big bears who just looooove to eat honey! They don’t just go after the honey though, they actually eat the whole beehive! Wow!

Slithery snakes | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

There are many different birds in the jungle, too! Like the long-billed toucan and the colourful macaws! But not all birds found in the wild are colourful, some have brown and beige colours that make it easier for them to blend into their environment.

Slithery snakes, such as the python and anaconda are in the wild as well. Those two are the biggest species of snakes, with the longest python reaching up to 9.6 metres! That’s really long!

Amazing Space Facts for Kids

Our second episode is already out and we are over the moon with excitement!

Did you enjoy the episode, Tiger Cubs? We did!

Tiger Cubs | Tiger and Tim’sSpace

In our new episode, Tim and I went to space and explored the planets. It was such a blast and I can’t wait to go back soon. Would you like to come with me? (And do you think we should bring Tim along with us?)

If you want to know more about our universe and just how cool it is, I’ve gathered ten interesting facts about space and space travel! Are you ready? Let’s go!

Counting Stars

Counting Stars | Tiger and Tim’s Space

Scientists believe that there are soooooo many stars in space. So many, in fact, that we would not be able to count them all. It is believed that there are more stars than there are grains of sand on all of the beaches in the entire world! Phew, now that’s a lot!

Do you know what the most famous star out there is? No, not me, and especially not Tim! I’m a superstar, not a star. However, the most popular star in space is none other than Mr. Sun himself!

Laika the Dog

I just learned that I am not the first animal in space. What a bummer! But it’s okay because the very first animal to ever go around outer space is just as cool as me!

On November 3rd, 1957, Laika, a mixed-breed dog from The Soviet Union (what is now Russia), became the very first living being to orbit the Earth. She rode a small satellite aircraft and stayed in space for about four days. Now that is one out-of-this-world road trip!

Silent Space

Did you know that space is completely silent? Because there is no air (called atmosphere) that surrounds space, you cannot hear anything there! Well, except for the time when Tim couldn’t stop talking whilst we were out there. The human just loves the sound of his own voice!

Pluto the Dwarf

Pluto the Dwarf | Tiger and Tim’s Space Travel

No, not Pluto the dog, but Pluto the dwarf planet!

Discovered in 1930 by astronomer Clyde William Tombaugh, Pluto (the planet) was named the ninth planet after the sun. However, Pluto was named a dwarf planet in 2006 because it was too small to be called an actual planet.

Don’t worry, Pluto (the planet), we still think you are amazing, no matter your size!

Life on Mars

Life on Mars | Tiger and Tim’s Space Travel

Astronomers believed that liquid water only exists on Earth and not on any other planet. But recently, NASA or the National Aeronautics and Space Administration discovered that there’s water on Mars, too! That’s why many scientists now believe that we could live on Mars someday.

Another fun fact about Mars: The sunset there has a bluish colour. Now I wouldn’t mind watching a blue sunset!

Huge Sun

Did you know that our sun is 300,000 times heavier than the Earth and that you can fit more than one million Earths inside the sun! Wow, it’s so much bigger!

But even though the sun is way bigger than our home planet, it is still not the biggest star in space. In fact, the sun is considered to be a medium-sized star. I wonder how big the biggest star there is… why don’t you Tiger Cubs do some research and find out!

Hottest Planet

I love the summertime, but the heat can get a little bit too much on some days. Even if we sweat a lot during summer, that’s no match for life on the planet Venus. It is so hot on Venus that lead (a kind of metal) would melt on its surface! The exact average temperature on Venus is 864 degrees Fahrenheit. Yikes! I wouldn’t want to go there, especially during those hot summer days!

Space Junk

Space Junk | Tiger and Tim’s Space Travel

In our second episode, Tim told you about the first-ever Moon Landing that happened in 1969. Even before Buzz Aldrin and Neil Armstrong stepped onto the Moon, there had been other astronauts who went to space, and there have been many since 1969 too. All of these astronauts left junk – or human-made objects – on space. Scientists and astronauts call this “space junk” and there are about 500,000 pieces of space junk orbiting space today.

I’m glad I didn’t add to the space junk, I’m just not so sure about Tim! Naughty Tim.

No Walking Allowed

Fancy taking a walk in outer space? Well, you can’t do it on Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, and Neptune. These planets are made up entirely of gas so there’s no surface to walk on! Ahhhhhh.

Designer Spacesuit

If you want to go to space, then you’ll need a spacesuit – just like mine when I flew to space with Tim. But do you know how much a NASA space suit is? A whopping 200 million dollars! That’s a LOT of money, Tiger Cubs.

The reason a spacesuit is so expensive is that NASA had to make sure that the suits would be the best ones for the astronauts (and for me, too!).

There you have it, friends! There are so many more interesting facts about space because it’s just that cool! But we don’t have any more time so we had to stop at 10! I hope you learned something new today.

Why Your Kids Need To Watch Tiger and Tim

Tiger and Tim episodes | Tiger Tim

Tiger and Tim will definitely become first on your list of educational videos for kids, but why should people watch our first episode?

The Search Is Over!

Mums and Dads, are you looking for fun, exciting and educational videos for your kids at home?

Well, your search is over. I am here! Yes, it’s me, TIGER!!

Former BBC presenter and reporter, Tim Hague, together with me, Tiger, (his best friend and the world’s cheekiest celebrity), are ready to take the internet by storm! The “Tiger and Tim” show – which is part animation and part “human” – is now available on YouTube and across social media. I look handsome in it:)

Now, you might ask: “Why watch Tiger and Tim when there are so many happy videos for kids online?” Well, apart from me being in it and being very clever and very cute, here are a number of other reasons why our show should be number one on your kiddo’s watchlist, and why it will be on the watchlist of children and adults all around the world very soon:

It’s A Fun Adventure
It’s A Fun Adventure | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

With our children being stuck at home for months and months because of COVID-19, they are always looking for exciting and entertaining shows to watch on the TV, internet and on your phones/tablets (I like using Tim’s phone for this)! With Tiger and Tim being available for free on YouTube Kids as well as lots of other original content on across social media (you can see our social accounts on our website), you can ensure that your “Tiger Cub” is watching something adventurous, family-friendly, and extremely educational. Both Tim and I really want to improve their literacy levels and help them fall in love with the English language! You should know that I also speak Tiger as well as English.

And, did we tell you how entertaining we are too? We have adults continuously telling us how much they love our show and that they too want to watch! I mean, why wouldn’t they? Who doesn’t love Tigers? Who doesn’t want their child to consume high-quality, highly funny, and highly-educational content? On top of that, I enjoy swinging from trees and making fun of his best friend Tim! Yes! Each episode of Tiger and Tim is full of relatable jokes, happy times, and child-friendly challenges. There will never be negative messages, only happy or important ones, and we guarantee we will bring a smile to your and your family’s face in every single one of our feature-length episodes (around 20-30 minutes).

It’s Very Educational

It’s Very Educational | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

The main difference between Tiger and Tim and other children shows on YouTube and elsewhere, is its purpose. Tiger and Tim aim to improve children’s literacy. Kid’s literacy, reading, and comprehension are so important and through our videos, your kids will develop all of this, as well as increase their moral values, kindness and sense of humour. AND, they get to watch me showing silly old Tim who is boss!!

Our regular educational videos for kids will teach children about valuable life lessons such as health and wellness, love, friendship, and so much more. Both Tim and I believe that teaching kids about respect, kindness, and other virtues will make a huge positive impact in their lives, your lives, and the future of our world. It’s very important you know.

As Tim often says: “a key motivation for both Tiger and Tim is that education is best when it doesn’t really feel like education. That is our goal, and everything that we do is designed to develop, nurture and help our community of Tiger Cubs.” Tim really wants to change the lives of children around the world for the better, and now, more than ever in our lifetimes, we all need the joy that Tiger and Tim bring.

Mums and Dads Will Love It Too!

Mums and Dads Will Love It Too | Tiger and Tim

Kids will undoubtedly love me, and maybe Tim too! But our motivation is to bring joy to all people of all nationalities, and that’s why we know (because many have already told us) that Mums, Dads, and kids of all ages will binge-watch our show. In using social media to promote our project for good, we are harnessing the very media source that is negatively affecting reading levels around the world. Except, we’re using it in a positive way – to promote education, kids’ literacy and good values – and we are doing it in a way that the kids will have no idea it is educational! It just appears fun, but everything about the show is about personal and educational development (and about me looking fabulous).

In times as tough as these, wholesome family humour can be the key to a happy mind! As you scroll and watch our new episodes each and every month, you will realise that Tiger and Tim are not your typical kids learning double-act – what we provide is a family bonding moment, a teaching opportunity, and a 20-30-minute adventure that you will watch again and again and again. This is escapism at its finest and we want you adults, to enjoy it just as much as your little ones. Please give it a try! I promise you won’t regret it!

Lots of Love, Tiger xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxo

Fun Family Activities To Do At Home

Let's Have Some Fun At Home | Tiger And Tim

Bored in the house? Tiger will teach you a few ways to make your life at home a little more fun and educational!

Let’s Have Some Fun At Home!

As a wild animal, staying at home sucks.

I miss running around with other Tiger Cubs, I miss eating on my favourite ice cream in the city, I miss strolling around London and teasing my best friend Tim 🙁

Although I kinda feel a bit sad, Tim always assures me that our home is the safest place on Earth right now. His Mum and Dad agree too.

Now, as a roarsome international celebrity living with my best friend, what do we do to cope with the boredom and loneliness at home?

My fellow Tiger Cubs will love these too, so read attentively parents (yes, I’m looking at you, Mummy and Daddy). Hmmm!

Create Arts and Crafts

Create Arts and Crafts | Tiger and Tim’s

Does your little Tiger Cub love colours, shapes, and forms like me? Creating an arts and crafts project is something that they will surely looooooove. Whether it is a doodle, a sketch, papier-mache, or a painting, producing an art project during quarantine will develop your Tiger Cub’s creativity and skillfulness.

To highlight your kiddos’ talents, you can submit their masterpiece to appear on the Tiger and Tim Show, a new animated series for kids on YouTube that was launched on July 1, 2020. Having your kid’s drawing or collage featured on the show can kickstart their career as the world’s leading kid artist!

Learn New Things

Learn New Things | Tiger and Tim’s Jungle Adventure

Staying at home is the purr-fect time to learn new skills and talents. Did you know that I am sharpening my English reading skills with Anglia Education? That’s an adult education provider for people who don’t speak English as their natural language (like me!). With constant practice reading English I learn about the difference between ‘your’ and ‘you’re’ and many other things! Paw-some right?

Kids and older kids (yes, we are talking about all of you adults reading this!) can also learn new jokes, riddles, and tongue twisters by watching our educational videos for kids on YouTube. Tiger and Tim, for example, has a segment called “The Joke Shop” where Tim tells me a riddle, and I then have to guess the answer (I always win!).

Read Stories and Tales

Read Stories and Tales | Tiger and Tim

Tim and I really love stories! Before we go to bed, Tim reads tales from a storybook until I fall asleep. This helps me learn how to read English and to appreciate good values and good morals. If you watch the first episode of our learning video for kids, Tiger and Tim, my best buddy Tim told the story of a cheeky rat! Yikes. It definitely taught me that I should wash my hands regularly!
